Andreas began his career as a management trainee at utilities company, The Sydkraft Group (now part of the German E.ON Group). Following his training he spent one year as a Portfolio Manager for Sydkraft Energy Trading. He then joined the international management consulting firm Arthur D. Little where he was involved in a wide variety of projects including the operational management of projects within procurement, manufacturing, forecasting and supply chain. Andreas was also involved in many strategy projects often working for private equity firms on due diligence projects.

In 2003 Andreas decided to utilise his breadth of industry knowledge and joined the Swedish boutique Executive Search firm, Michaël Berglund Executive Search. After four years there Andreas began looking for a new challenge and at that time Alumni had just opened their third office in Gothenburg.  Andreas joined Alumni in 2007 shortly after its merger with Harvey Nash Executive Search into a position that offered him greater international exposure. 

Andreas is genuinely interested in corporate governance and has been involved in fifteen Board Audits where he has worked with boards to improve their performance.
