Imogen Wilde has combined a career at senior level in central government with professional recruitment experience across the education sector.

Imogen was a senior civil servant in the Department for Education and Skills until 2002. Her last role was Director, Curriculum, Assessment and e Learning in Schools. Prior to that, she had responsibility for the funding and organisation of Higher Education and, before that, for the establishment of the Further Education sector in the early 1990s. She worked at British Petroleum plc on secondment for three years in the corporate centre.

In 2003 Imogen moved into executive search. Since then she has specialised in recruitment to senior level positions in universities, colleges, schools and other educational organisations, including Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean and Director roles as well as College Principal and Headteacher roles.

Imogen is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Governor of Croydon High School. She is particularly interested in Japanese culture.
