Nigel Parslow - UK Managing Director

Nigel is responsible for the UK Executive Search division, part of Harvey Nash plc, International Consulting Division.

A generalist executive search professional with over twenty years experience in the UK and abroad, he has been at Harvey Nash for over ten years. Originally a Chartered Engineer, Nigel’s early career was in the aerospace sector with Westland Helicopters and later, in one of the Rolls-Royce Power Division’s companies, where he was Technical and Quality Director. Having had a ‘first career’ in the manufacturing sector, Nigel has developed a deep understanding and capability in recruiting for a broad industry base which includes manufacturing, construction, transport, business services and infrastructure, for both here in the UK and overseas.

Nigel has a track record of moving senior people across market sectors, being able to recognise the potential and agility in a candidate to make this transition. Furthermore, this expertise combines well with a long history of working with the Boards to help them develop consensus on candidate profiles and bring those candidates to consideration for appointments that will make a difference to the organisations’ success and future.
