Just over a year ago, the company’s global CIO, John Donnarumma, added Harvey Nash to his select list of GroupM IT talent partners.
GroupM’s technology hiring needs span the organizational spectrum, from entry-level specialist roles to executive
management. Donnarumma met several IT recruitment firms to explore how they would tackle the organization’s diverse technology hiring requirements.

Since becoming one of only three preferred IT recruitment service providers working with GroupM, Harvey Nash has
averaged one permanent placement per month for the company. This steady placement success can be attributed to the Harvey Nash commitment to knowing the client, knowing the client’s business and understanding the kinds of
professionals who will succeed at the job and in the workplace.
"Harvey Nash has spent a good deal of time working to understand our business and the kind of people that work well in our organization," says Donnarumma. He explains that the new team members recruited by Harvey Nash are valuable business resources: "We were lucky to get them."
Although Harvey Nash has so far focused on the company’s U.S.-based technology talent needs, it has made one placement in the UK for GroupM and is working to expand its international support. In autumn 2006, Harvey Nash attended GroupM’s Global IT Conference in order to give the company’s technology managers from around the world the chance to hear about the full Harvey Nash service offerings, from recruitment and executive search to managed services and offshoring.
According to Donnarumma, the last year of getting to know and working with Harvey Nash has been a welcome surprise.
